I am a math tutor with over twenty years of experience who has taught in a variety of different settings. I have taught from middle school to high school. I have also worked as a substitute teacher, and I have been employed as a tutor for a center. I enjoy teaching Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry to Trigonometry, and I really have a passion for solving mathematical problems.I believe Math is a subject that crosses many career paths, and it is crucial to have often, no matter what position or job you end up choosing. I work with students to increase their knowledge on a topic, and I want to do my best to help my students succeed and exceed expectations in their math class. It is my motto that you can accomplish anything, if you put your mind to it!I graduated from Western Washington University with my degree in Education, while majoring in Mathematics. In addition to Math, I am also available to assist students wanting to learn beginning to intermediate Spanish. I am also available for summer tutoring, to help students catch up.Besides working with my students, I love to read classic children's literature, and I enjoy watching the television series Dr. Who.
